Rule & Regulation

  1. Students are expected to maintain a high standard of behavior and manner of speech and be proactive in promoting and working towards making school a positive, supportive, safe and welcoming place for all students and teachers.
  2. In order to ensure proficiency in English, students are advised to speak in English during school hours.
  3. Students should be well-behaved, respectful to their elders, honest, truthful, respectful and courteous to fellow-students’ parents, guardians and teaching and non-teaching staff. Pupils are answerable to the school authorities for their conduct in and outside the school.
  4. Students are expected to be attentive in class and complete and hand in all assignments on time and be knowledgeable about discipline policies, regulations and rules.
  5. Personal hygiene and neatness is of vital importance. Students are expected to be well groomed and tidy at all times. A student who is slovenly dressed may be sent home.
  6. Students are to wear the prescribed school uniform and modification to the uniform is not allowed. Uniform must be clean and ironed and shoes must be polished. White uniform must be worn on prescribed days.
  7. Punctuality is essential at all times, students must reach school in time for the General Assembly during which silence should be maintained. Students who disregard this rule without valid reason will face appropriate action.
  8. The students should arrive at the School 10 minutes before the assembly bell. at the first bell, they should assemble in absolute silence. Latecomers will not be allowed to attend the sessions of the day without the permission of the principal. The college gates will get closed five minutes prior to the college assembly.
  9. At the stroke of the first bell, all the students should assemble in the ground for assembly. After the assembly, they must return to their respective class-rooms quietly in line. The students must carry with them their School diary while entering the class, laboratory, library or attending the morning assembly.
  10. Students must actively participate in classroom discussions/ interactions. Every student must take part in all the curricular and co-curricular activities, sports and national social programs as planned by the school, unless declared unfit or exempted by the authorities.
  11. Every student must cover his/her note-books / text books properly with prescribed covers only, and label them positively. Students must bring their copies and books to the school as per time table. Extra books, newspapers or periodicals must not be brought to the school without prior permission of the school authorities.
  12. Students must keep their classrooms and campus neat, clean and presentable at all times. They should avoid littering the campus and should make use of bins provided.
  13. It is compulsory to bring the school diary to school every day. Not bringing the school diary could result in strict actions.
  14. Students must not vandalize school property. Any damage to the school property must be made good by the concerned offender.
  15. Parents will not be permitted to meet or take their wards during the school hours unless there is any special circumstances, then a student will be allowed to leave the school premises before the official closing time, only with a written permission from the Principal.
  16. No leave of absence is granted except for valid reasons and only on prior written application by parents. Applications for medical leave should be accompanied by a medical certificate from a qualified doctor.
  17. A pupil, who for some unexplained reason has been absent for a month or more, is liable to have his/her name struck off without advance notice. If readmitted he or she will be considered as a case of fresh admission.
  18. Irregular attendance, habitual late-arrival, idleness, negligence in doing homework, disobedience and disrespect or any other reprehensible behaviour towards teachers and others may entail dismissal from the school. Students are accountable to the school authorities for their conduct both inside and outside the school.
  19. All the students must use decent, respectful, courteous and graceful language at all times with the fellow students as well as the staff members. They should remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet their seniors, teachers and elders whenever and wherever they meet them. If any student is found getting involved in any form of indisciplined activity anywhere inside / outside the premises of the school during / beyond the school hours in school uniform, it will be treated as gross indiscipline.
  20. No fine of any kind or collection or sale for any purpose whatsoever may be made without the previous sanction of the Principal.
  21. Each child is responsible for his or her own belongings. For safety and security, parents should refrain from sending valuables (like expensive jewelleries, electronic items, etc.) to school. If earrings must be worn, then they must be small hoops or studs. Nose rings, bangles, rings, bracelets, tattoos, mehndi of any kind are not permitted.
  22. The students are not allowed to wear or bring any kind of valuables like cell phones, I- pods, MP3/MP4 players, cameras, transistors, precious coins, stones or any item of jewellery like chain, rings etc. to the school. The school will not be responsible for loss of any such article if brought by the students. Such items will be seized by the authorities of the school if found using or wearing it in the school premises and fine would be imposed for the same.
  23. No collective petition will be entertained but reasonable and private ones will be sympathetically attended to.
  24. Private tuition in any subject from any member of the school staff is forbidden.
  25. The Management reserves the right to dismiss students who make no progress in their studies or whose conduct is detrimental to the orderly life of the school. Irregular attendance, insubordination to teachers, habitual inattention to school work, obscenity in words or actions, damage to school property are sufficient reasons for dismissal of a student.
  26. All students should present themselves on the opening day of the school after a vacation. Absentees, who do not give prior intimation of the delay, may have their names struck off the roll to enable the school to accommodate those on the waiting list.
  27. A minimum of 75 % of total attendance during an Academic Session would be necessary to appear for the Annual Examination. Shortage upto 10 % may be considered for condonation in case of genuine illness (if supported by a Medical Certificate).
  28. Members of staff are willing to meet, only by appointment, with parents to discuss any concerns or questions. All appointments should be made via the school diary.
  29. The school must be immediately notified in writing of any change of address, telephone number and emergency contact details.
  30. Students must adhere to school directives on the use of school facilities.
  31. Withdrawn the name of the child needs to take 3 months prior written permission from Principal, otherwise parents shall be bound to pay Tuition fees whatever is applicable.
  32. Any form of bullying or ragging will result in a disciplinary committee review and could result in expulsion with a negative conduct certificate.
  33. Any pupil who is persistently insubordinate or is repeatedly or wilfully mischievous or is guilty of malpractice in connection with examinations or has committed an act of serious indiscipline and/or misbehaviour or who, in the opinion of the Head of the Institution, has an unwholesome influence on his fellow pupils, may be expelled permanently or removed from the school for a specified period by the Principal.
  34. Unacceptable behaviour including but not limited to irregular attendance, academic dishonesty, and negligence of homework, disruptive behaviour, loitering and disrespectful behaviour towards staff or fellow students will result in serious disciplinary action.
  35. Any misbehaviour or violation of school discipline will be dealt by the disciplinary committee and corrective action will be taken. In extreme cases parents will be called in to discuss the child’s behaviour and may lead to suspension or expulsion from the school.
  36. For safety and security, parents should refrain from sending money with their child without specific written notice from the school.
  37. Use of foul language, scribbling and scratching on School furniture and School walls and any misbehaviour will be strictly dealt with. The school reserves the right to be compensated by the student for any such damage.
  38. Students are refrained from littering and keep the school premises clean.
  39. No student will remain on the campus or in the class room after the last bell has been rung.
  40. Social functions, involving pupils must not be organized without the Principal's approval. This applies to picnics, excursions and other outings also. Anybody who organizes or takes part in these unauthorized activities will be liable for disciplinary action.
  41. A support team of responsible students (Students’ Council) is selected each year to maintain the discipline of the school. Students must obey them at all times.
  42. Students are supposed to be proactive in promoting and working towards making school a positive, supportive, safe and welcoming place for all students and teachers and share ideas and strategies for improving school climate and school discipline practices. The student must adhere to such rules & regulations as and when framed and implemented by the school.
  43. The students who come to school by cycling, should park their cycles in the cycle-stand and lock it properly. They must follow all the traffic rules while on road. Those who commute on their own should not loiter about on the way. They should be prompt in reaching the school/home in time.
  44. UNAUTHORISED PHOTOGRAPHY IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE SCHOOL.
  45. Firing/lighting crackers or splashing colours in school premises is strictly prohibited. Non-compliance to these instructions may result in expulsion from the school.
  46. The school reserves the right to dismiss such students whose diligence of progress in studies is constantly unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to the school environment or whose guardians show little interest in the progress of their wards. Immorality, grave insubordination, contempt of authority or wilful damages to school property is always sufficient reason for immediate dismissal.
  47. The students who come to school under the care of escorts should never leave the school campus on their own. In case of delay in the arrival of the escort, they should report to the school office for further course of action.
  48. No collection of money, for whatsoever the purpose may be, shall be made in the School without the prior permission of the Principal. Money should neither be lent nor borrowed. No article should be exchanged by the students among themselves.
  49. The School Authorities do not promote nor encourage unofficial Parties / Get-togethers organized by the students at any locations for whatsoever the occasion may be.
